Keyboard controls for the slide editor

This article details the keyboard controls required for editing slide content

Keyboard shortcuts let you activate features or navigate without using a mouse. Unfortunately, different browsers use different combinations, as do screen reader applications.

The following actions can be achieved by using these keyboard shortcuts when editing slides

Enter text in input box: control + enter

Move input box around: press control + alt and then the up, down, left, right keys

Abi James - on my laptop this changes the screen orientation 8/2/18

Bring input box to front or back: press control+shift and then the plus or minus key

Abi James  on Chrome this started the browser zoom function 8/2/18

Duplicate an input box: control + d

Delete an input box: control + delete

When using Firefox, the selection of text via mouse cursor does not work well. Use keyboard selection or another browser instead. We are working to solve this problem.
