After my work of today, this is the current aspect for a deck card in the similar content panel:

We can create a deckCard component, wich receives as parameter if it shows extra content or not. In this image, the extra content are likes and downloads.

I agree merging these components could achieve this. The deckview would be an extended version of card view with additional information. This may want to also be viewed on other pages. bringing you into to this discussion as you have been working on the deckview component.
